My experience as a donor and Village Member with Well Aware has been very positive - I attribute this to the excellent leadership provided by Sarah Evans. Sarah has assembled an excellent group of mentors to assist her in guiding Well Aware from donations collected in the US to actual digging of wells in Africa.

There are few times a donor can actually observe a dollar donated translate into a very tangible item (in this case a water well in Africa) - all done with exceptional fiscal oversight.
