Receiving our son's service dog was life changing for our family. For the first time in 13 years we were able to go to events and activities as a whole family! Previously it was one parent at the event and one parent at home with our son who has a disability because he could not handle the sensory overload or the difficult transitions or the time the event took. His safety was compromised as he would elope during stressful events.
