The wolves in the video were taken by someone who paid to see them live and close up in an Iowa mall - where bears, wolves, and large cats, etc. were housed for 4 years never seeing the sun or experiencing dirt beneath their feet. It was Pat Craig, director of TWAS who I contacted and he agreed to come to Iowa and take them into the sanctuary for the remainer of their lives if the city were to receive possession of them. Fueled with that knowedge that a good result could happen, a public campaign and petition was waged to inform people about the unnecessary cruelty that was ongoing within the walls of the mall. They now reside free from exploitation in the Colorado plains in their packs. Priceless.
