Review for Feathered Friends Forever Rescue/Sanctuary Inc., Harlem, GA, USA
I visited this Refuge just before Thanksgiving and was very impressed. I admire the dedication and love these people give these birds, wheather handicapped or perfect. I met 2 of the volunteers as well and Ron and Tammy. All at the Refuge are great people. Let's try to help them in every way that we can -- but mostly financially. Great people, and great birds.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the care and love they show all birds. There are many with handicaps that they care for, and cater to. Helps show our love for the birds and someone did not want, but thought they had to have.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
change nothing. FFF is on the right track and trying to look to the future. They are in need of money to make this a reality. They are very much needed as long as people buy birds as disposal items. Thank God there is a caring place for birds!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Ron is always eager to give me advice on what to do for my own birds.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
caring, and eager to talk about the birds, their needs, and information about the birds they care for.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
hire help to care for all the birds that poeple thought they needed, then found that they were too much trouble, too loud, or just not "talking" like they expected. The staff they have just don't have enought time in a day to love and interact with all.
Ways to make it better...
more people would support this refuge so these people could upgrade and built better housing for the birds. They do great with what they have, but more is needed.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
MONEY!! Like all good Refuges, they are short on money, and must rely on volunteers and donations.
One thing I'd also say is that...
These people are dedicated to the birds. I saw this on my visit, and I hope more people will see the need to help them and the birds.
