A friend told me how Mickaboo fosters parrots until they can find a Forever Home for them. I have my own parrot and enjoy his company very much. It saddened me to think that parrots get abandoned or abused. I contacted Mickaboo and after several steps, I am now fostering an African Grey. Mickaboo has been very supportive and kind. It helps me feel connected with other bird lovers and I am enjoying the process of helping my foster parrot become more secure in himself, as well as teaching him a few things he needs to know to be a great companion to someone. Mickaboo may seem an unusual nonprofit, but it is very much needed! I am glad to be able to be a part of it.
