I've been working with Mickaboo for almost 10 years, and the dedication people have constantly amazes me. We get a lot of birds that need homes, have health or behavior issues, and everyone spends a lot of time to socialize them (and Mickaboo spends a lot on vet bills :P We are a volunteer organization, but despite that many dedicated people are helping with our bird rescue in many ways. This organization really has the best interest of the birds in mind. With our education programs (free to the public) we bring a lot of people up to date with the latest bird knowledge, especially diet and dangers in the home. This is a dedicated group of people, and I'm really proud to be a part of it. And I'm very happy to see that we find good homes to adopt our birds. I recommend to anyone that wants a bird to take our class and be better prepared. This is a wonderful organization that I'm proud to be part of.
