Review for The Humane Society of the United States, Washington, DC, USA
HSUS does not run any dog or cat shelters, and yet they use these animals in their ads to mislead the public into thinking they do. Less than 1% of donations go to help ANY animals, and yet everything you read that this group puts out implies that they do help animals. If you really want to help animals in need, donate to your local humane society, and urge any group to distance themselves from this lobbying group.

they actually spent money on animals in shelters, instead of just implying that they do with their ads. Everything about this group is not what it seems.
