I teach dance for free in a tiny community in Mexico. Traveling Tutus sent me everything I needed to round out my supply of dance attire for my students. They are also working with me to do costumes for our Nutcracker we hope to put on in December. In an area where the student could never afford the classes let alone the proper attire this means the world to both me and my students. One cannot underestimate the need for proper dance attire. Not only can I now see their lines properly making it safer for my students to learn proper technique but they feel like dancers now as well. They sent us everything free of charge, in a timely manner, much of it new and all of it in excellent shape. They are helpful, kind and have a super great ministry set up that works well. It may seem inconsequential to some but know that this ministry makes a huge difference in children's lives. For places without dance schools they give children a chance to feel lovely and dream about being a ballerina. Giving a child a dream and a gift like that is without measure. For places with schools like mine they give these students a chance to change their lives. Both the adults and children that I teach have had their lives changed because they have the opportunity to dance and feel comfortable in attire that fits and is safe and makes them feel beautiful. This is truly and amazing organization with an amazing world view changing lives for the better.
