My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for People Resources and Conservation Foundation, Los Angeles, CA, USA
The PRCF's commitment to the conservation of biological diversity through community involvement programs in developing countries draw me to join their team in Vietnam for a 6-months internship. My work with them is now sadly coming to an end, and looking back I can sincerely say that the opportunity to participate in their conservation efforts has proved to be a daily enriching experience. Leading innovative local solutions to one of the toughest challenges facing humanity, PRCF is an organization I hold in high regard and that will always be a source of inspiration in my environmental career.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my participation to field activities interviews, workshops, working in villages and forest surveys. Most recently I have participated in a primate survey to assess the conservation needs of critically endangered primate species.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
its commitment in involving local communities in biodiversity conservation.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
kind, professional and passionate about their work.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
expand its projects around the world and contribute to the much needed conservation of the world's biodiversity.
