It was a great experience having an exchange student. We loved learning about her German culture and sharing ours with her. We were glad that we said yes to Joan and had 10 months of adventure with another "daughter." It was like watching a child on Christmas morning as she experienced life in the United States and Utah and helped us appreciate anew all the things we have here.
