Struck by a truck in April 2015, a 9 month old German shepherd dragged himself over a mile before collapsing in a field. A good samaritan discovered him and rushed him to the vet, GSROC (German shepherd rescue of OC/association of German shepherd rescuers) learned his pelvis was fractured in 2 places and his tail broken, he had a deep, long wound to the inner thigh and a degloved scrotum, it was suspected he had been impaled on the truck's bumper..GSROC took over fighting for him as the team of vets gave him round the clock medical care...despite his horrific injuries he is friendly, trusting and doing well within his new adoptive family and will celebrate his 2nd birthday on July 11, 2016. This group has the finest animal loving and caring volunteers -you couldn't ask for more professionalism and compassion.
