I believe in. The mission of MedShadow. I have been handed by medicines. I'll still take neds, but I check with MedShadow first.

I joined DES Action in the late 1980s. From DES Action I found out about my risks from DES, I learned what to do about it, and most of all I felt better knowing I wasn't alone. Just receiving the quarterly newsletter ensured that I would learn of new discoveries about DES and its effects.
A few years ago I became the executive director and my team and I are proud to carry on the important work of those before me.

I subscribe to MedShadow's newsletter so that every Friday I see what's new on the website. I was surprised to find out that every medicine has side effects. I knew from my friends who had dealt with cancer that sometimes the side effects are horrific and can even kill. But I hadn't realized that even "normal" drugs like Benedryl and Rolaids can be very negative for my sistem.

I've been a member for more than 20 years. I depend on it to tell me when there is new information about DES.

I turn to MedShadow to find alternatives to the drugs my doctor suggests. It feels good to know that others feel like I do. I don't want to take 4-5 medicines every day.
