Big Life's accomplishments in a relatively short period of time have earned the respect of donors as well as other NGOs, while its commitment to local communities - from supporting education, to capacity building, to mitigating human-wildlife conflict - has resulted in fantastic working partnerships throughout the Amboseli ecosystem. Rangers are highly regarded and work closely with the people living adjacent to protected areas, elephant and rhino poaching has been massively curtailed, and lion populations are increasing. Big Life's strong leadership - Richard Bonham, Nick Brandt and Kim McCoy -are to be hugely commended. I am proud to be involved with this wonderful organisation.
