Joining Partnering for Progress (P4P) in January 2009 was my first medical mission trip. It changed my life greatly on so many levels. Since that trip, I have been involved with P4P in many aspects and now serve on the Communications Committee. It is an amazing organization that has done so much for the Kopanga/Giribe community in Kenya. P4P truly listens to the needs of the people and provides a hands up so that members of the area can be self-sustaining. I love the people I have come to know through this organization and am always ready to tell someone about P4P and how to get involved.
