Review for Save A Forgotten Equine, Redmond, WA, USA
Absolutely 5+ Stars for SAFE - Save a Forgotten Equine.
SAFE is a marvelously well run non-profit - a great role model for transparency, super volunteer program - most everything is done by a volunteer crew of over 100 committed folks. Horse care and safety of horses and humans are the top priorities. SAFE trains dozens of volunteers in horse care and feeding, horse health, handling skills - it's a great way for a wanna-be horse person to get involved with horses. SAFE treats horses well. You will be learning with the best. Another benefit - I've made great friendships with fellow volunteers.
Review for Save A Forgotten Equine, Redmond, WA, USA
I first became a donor to SAFE when I heard about the great work they do to rescue, rehabilitate and find loving forever homes for horses in need. Two years ago I started volunteering and my esteem for SAFE just grows and grows. The commitment of the huge volunteer staff - over 100 including 70 weekly barn volunteers - is wonderful and a testament to the care and integrity with which SAFE operates. If I were an abused or neglected horse I would pray every day that SAFE would come and get me.
