Review for Ecological Options Network, Bolinas, CA, USA
This organization, which operates on a shoestring, does a tremendous amount of work. They research a range of topics relevant to the continued freedom of choice for what goes into our bodies, air, streams and food and maintain an extensive dvd library and website. They attend, videotape and report on meetings that get little or no press review. They interview a diverse group of health and environmental experts, scientists and political persons to get to the truth of issues that affect humanity as a whole. They need updated equipment and a travel budget to get their information to the public in a timely manner.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Fighting the blanket spraying of a dangerous, and unnecessary pesticide for the light brown apple moth. Writing women to urge them of the importance of voting. Exposing the dangers of cell phones and cell towers.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
They are friendly, inclusive, and extremely intelligent in their diligent work to uncover and problems and find remedies beneficial to all.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
enthusiastic; helpful; and quite knowledgeable
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
fund more research into the toxics in our environment and support work on new scientific break throughs for energy, communications and health; and be an educational resource for schools and the general public.
Ways to make it better...
They need a larger office and work space and state of the art video equipment.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Lack of funds and staff and space and equipment...
One thing I'd also say is that...
This group has high standards and a relentless work ethic which needs to receive support.
