Review for Seattle Tilth Association Inc, Seattle, WA, USA
I've been a volunteer for Seattle Tilth for 11 years, and I just keep signing up for more because it's such a wonderful organization. The classes they provide are excellent quality and affordable, the events are festive, educational, and help to build a flourishing community. The beneficial impact Tilth has on our community is long reaching. Seattle Tilth, has taught me to grow my own food, keep chickens and bees, compost, conserve water, eliminate toxic chemicals in my yard, reduce storm water run off, and to support the local farmers to build a sustainable food system. They also have provided me with many learning opportunities through volunteering and helped me to connect with other people in the community. Thank you Seattle Tilth for all you do for our environment and community!
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the yards around Seattle. Tilth provides education about organic gardening specific to the NW. They make it easy for us to grow our own food, compost, conserve water, and eliminate pesticides, we're lucky to have this amazing resource!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
working with the staff and the volunteers.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
expand it's education and outreach, create functional urban farms, and become a model for creating sustainable urban food systems around the world.
