I've never before have been involved with an organization that cares so passionately about its mission! I work along side other volunteers who show up to fulfill their commitments to 'our' horses regardless of weather, holidays, time of day, or even their own health situation. We observe 'barn time' which means you might be scheduled to help out for a couple hours but end up being there all afternoon. Or all day. And that's OK. It's a very special bond we all share--for the love of the horse.
