I have volunteered as a dog walker for seven years and see first hand the commitment of this organization to finding a forever home for adoptable animals. I particularly commend the fact that they place older or disabled animals for adoption as well as younger pets. We adopted a wonderful five year old cat from the shelter who was our best friend for eleven more years. The cost of adoption for a pet who had been neutered, vacinated, and leukemia tested was far less than it would have cost us to provide ourselves.
