Review for Shadow Cats Rescue, Round Rock, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I first encountered Shadow Cats and their wonderful organization through Facebook. Their work with cats is admirable, and although I live completely across the country, I was inspired by their dedication to the cats in their care to sponsor two of the kitties at their Sanctuary. I continue to be amazed by how hard they work to take care of less fortunate cats who would be hard to place or worse, euthanized, and how they strive to educate communities and other rescues in the positive outcomes gained by TNR. Their One Life Fund to help other rescues is another in a long line of ways they help the "community of cats" live better and safer lives.

I first learned of Shadow Cats through a Facebook post, and decided to check them out since I am a devout cat lover with 11 of my own. Although I live on the east coast, I was so taken with their dedication to the cats and their TNR programs and how hard they work to make good lives for cats that are either sick or unadoptable, I decided to sponsor not one, but two cats and I will continue to do as long as I have the means to do it. There are no better advocates for the feline community than all those associated with Shadow Cats. They have made a difference in the lives of hundreds of cats and I am proud to be a sponsor associated with this wonderful organization. Keep up the good work!

I am not from Texas - actually, I am almost completely across the country in Connecticut, but links to pictures and articles from Shadow Cats kept showing up on my Facebook feed, so I decided to check them out. I read all about their sanctuary and the wonderful work they do in cat rescue, and I was so inspired by their dedication to this cause, that I decided to sponsor one of their cats. I have since added another, and do what I can to help with the One Life Fund, Amplify Austin and other fundraisers. I have gotten invaluable information from them on how to deal with different issues with my cats (I have eleven!), but I think the thing that I value most is their ability to take in FELV kitties knowing that their time may be short, and still give them the best life ever. Their compassion to sick or wounded animals is a continual inspiration. Although I will probably never be able to visit the sanctuary, or the kitties that I sponsor, I will continue to support Shadow Cats and spread the word via social media about this great organization and the love and dedication they show to the cats in their care and the outreach they provide to other organizations with similar purpose. I am thankful everyday for what they do and grateful that I can help in some small way.

I happened upon ShadowCats from someone else's post on Facebook and began following them. Having 12 cats of my own, I always found their posts enlightening and their compassion unlimited. I was so taken by their work that I began to sponsor one of their kitties, and added another soon after. The retesting of the FIV positive cats that turn out negative after years of having the virus is inspiring and gives hope to cat lovers everywhere that kitties affected by this disease will have a better future. Their posts have brought me joy, laughter and tears. I can't possibly express the admiration for all those involved with ShadowCats. God bless them all!
