For me, an educational NGO is the backbone of developmental efforts as someone has rightly said that Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.
I have done only one session with AIWR as a volunteer ESL tutor. However, it has taught me a life long experience too. The role that AIWR is playing by providing educational support to girls is not only an effort to improve their educational standards but to equip them with a life long confidence and self esteem in order to live and lead lives of many around them with a firm faith that education is the strongest pillar to develop a nation and ultimately a region.
