My trip with PUSH International was such an amazing experience. It was well planned and executed, and there was never a moment that I did not feel safe. It was such an eye opening week. My experiences in Mazatlan changed the way I provide care and has made me a more client centered and compassionate occupational therapy student. The trip helped me understand how culture, family, community, and early intervention shape outcomes. During the week I got to do so many hands on things that I would not have experienced otherwise in my graduate occupational therapy program education. I am so grateful that this was an option for me. I’m already thinking about when I can go back!
