Exposing Animal Cruelty: LCA's undercover investigation into Sheik Halal Farms Inc.—a provincially licensed meat plant in Grand Valley, Ontario—exposed apparent instances of animal abuse, disturbing practices, and possible violations of food handling safety procedures.
Saving Mountain Gorillas: LCA continues to support Virunga National Park's AirWing program in the Democratic Republic of the Congo—the best line of defense Virunga and the Rangers have at protecting the park and its inhabitants, including the endangered mountain gorillas.
Working to Stop the Dog Meat Trade: LCA is hard at work in S. Korea working to stop the brutal dog and cat meat trade. With an active campaign and a Boknal protest set for July 12, 2019, LCA will stop at nothing to end this barbaric industry
