Review for California State Parks Foundation, San Francisco, CA, USA
We use the State Parks of California many times throughout the year, and most recently was 2 days ago at San Onofre State Beach in San Clemente. The staff is always helpful, competent, polite and informed. The parks are always well-maintained and free of trash and troublesome elements. The State Parks serve as an indispensable and invaluable resource for our family when we wish to 'get away from it all.'

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the myriad ways are difficult to categorize, but essentially if there's nothing I'm walking away complaining about, then it's a job extremely well done.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
make it sacrosanct in the State of California, i.e., in future possible budget crunches, the State Parks system is never to be underfunded.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
their consistent level of professionalism and the high standards they continually meet or exceed.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
warm, knowledgeable, conscientious & easy to find.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
keep the parks even cleaner, safer and better maintained. Hopefully, the hardworking employees could also receive much-needed remuneration from that as well.
Ways to make it better...
I could have stayed longer.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Sacramento bureaucrats with their greedy heads up their own asses.
One thing I'd also say is that...
long may they run!!!
