Review for Ocean River Institute Inc, Cambridge, MA, USA

Rating: 4 stars

OCI is a dedicated organization to preserving and protecting our natural wetlands, oceans and other vital resources of earth. It has helped me learn how I too can help in my own way. Even one can make a difference, think of what many are possible of. Thank you OCI

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

how I live my life and care for the earth and what a magnificent planet it is and how worthy a goal it is to take care of being part in.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Focus more on the Great Lakes and what a huge natural world wide wonder it is. How we should all be concerned with its health, and treat it as we do any other national wonder.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Watching positive changes being made.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Were kind, caring and passionate about their work.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Clean up so much pollution and try to get the attention of so many more people so they might learn to care too.

Ways to make it better...

It focused on what individuals could do that are small and non costly but still make a difference.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Getting people to realize without clean healthy water life can not exist for any of us.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Without organizations such as this our planet is doomed. We may effectively destroy it to such a point as to not only make it unlivable for other species but our selves. Which should ultimately be the selfish reason we should take care of our waters.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010

Role:  Volunteer & Gave trees out at my wedding.
