Since I became an advocate for animals in early 2015, I have been very interested in how organizations assist with animal welfare. The main issue that has drawn me to Last Chance for Animals is their ongoing, non-stop work in Asian countries, rescuing dogs & cats from the Dog Meat Trade. This awful trade sees dogs & cats slaughtered by the thousands, tortured while still alive, because they believe that the more brutal the treatment, the more tender the meat! It is an abomination! LCA needs to be commended for the work they do in saving these beautiful, innocent animals. I doubt that just anybody could do this type of work; it needs people who are dedicated, caring individuals. I believe that the people from LCA must be just that!
