For 10 years, I’ve worked with impoverished communities in Guatemala, supporting efforts to empower women, children and youth through health and wellness, education, and economic development programs. During this time, I encountered Mil Milagros and instantly became impressed by its integral approach with respect to preventing malnutrition and improving education -- addressing both immediate health and safety concerns meanwhile engaging the wider community in promoting systemic change. Mil Milagros partners with local constituents, governmental and non-profit organizations, to accomplish its objectives with a strong emphasis on measuring impact.
