I came across The Blind Cat Rescue and Sanctuary many years ago and was immediately struck by the love and compassion Alana Miller has for these animals, many of whom would have been euthanised - she gave them a lifelong home. This opened people’s hearts which is sorely needed. Even though I have never visited I donate every month and read the newsletters regularly. I love to read about the different personalities of the cats. And I still miss Snickers ❤️ who was an amazing character.

This is an amazing charity that i have supported for many years. Alana and her team provide such a caring environment for these cats that wouldmotherwise be abandoned or killed - and though this work they remind us what it means to be human - to be compassionate and caring - and to safeguard those less fortunate.

LCA are dedicated to fighting animal cruelty. They have worked tirelessly to stop the dog trade in China shutting down two dog meat slaughterhouses in the northern city of Changchun. LCA campaign against Ringliong Bros to stop using animals in circus acts and were a successful part of Ringling stopping their elephant act. And they work to help protect endangered mountain gorillas and the rangers who strive to protect them. When I feel sad about hat is happening to our planet and our fellow creatures I am lifted to know there are organisations like LCA who are working tirelessly to help make things better
