Review for Community Cat Coalition, Mukilteo, WA, USA
I just moved to Washington last year and wanted to find a group that helps cats. A person on Facebook recommended the Community Cat Coalition. When I contacted them I was amazed at the scope of activities they are involved in to benefit cats. Many volunteers TNR and in turn are supported by other volunteers who raise funds as well as teaching in many communities how to TNR. They have countless activities and fund raising events that provide funds to have cats and kittens spayed/neutered, microchipped and vetted. They also provide volunteers with opportunities and events where they can get their rescued cats adopted out. It is a full circle of support. Another aspect of the group that I believe keeps people connected to it is: you can help as little or as much as you like. I have had some big events in my life this year as having all my family in a different country, death, sickness, moving within WA as well as a very large renovation so I have only been able to help out a couple of times but have never been made to feel guilty. I am now moving into a position where I am hoping to do more and am really looking forward to it.
