I have been collaborating with Biosphere Expeditions since 2004. I think they are the best organisation at putting volunteers together with researchers in the field. Having extra hands to collect the data as well as extra eyes to spot the animals is a great benefit. They provide all the extra equipment required to host the volunteers in the field, such as binocculars and computers. Biosphere also send a team leader to look after the volunteers at the base, so that I can focus on collecting the data. Biosphere are committed to spreading the word about conservation and lowering our own "footprint". Their primary concern is safety first, followed by the science being done and then the satisfaction of the clients. I hope to continue working with Biosphere for many more years to come.
