Beauty's Haven Farm and Equine Rescue has been a part of my family's life for over 10 years. I have never known anyone that has such a deep respect and love for animals as Theresa Bachelor. They all find a kindred spirit in her and know that she can make their life better. God gave Theresa a special power that speaks to all animals in need, I truly believe this. I have witnessed the love she gives to all those helped and saved.

After the passing of 2006 Derby winner, Barbaro, I became involved in the movement to stop horse slaughter and was looking for a place to volunteer for horses in need. A fellow FOB (fans of Barbaro) recommend BHFER as a place I might enjoy.Well, I am forever grateful for her advice. I have been volunteering at Beauty's Haven since 2007 and have witnessed miracles you would not believe.
