Probably one of the best conservation organizations out there. Dedicated (small) staff based in DC manages (big) projects in Peru and Bolivia. I donate every year and always receive their updates. Their programs are comprehensive and actually use feedback from local communities on what the project priorities should be, so they aren't a bunch of Americans trying to push a conservation agenda in Latin America, but rather they care about the local communities on a personal level. Better than donating to large scale conservation organizations (where most of the time you don't know where your donation ends up), I rather donate to Amazon Conservation Association and be able to see their impact.
