As a non affiliated person to the Veterans Car Show management, but as an annual participant in the show itself for many years, I can attest to the great benefits that I have witnessed that have been obtained by veterans in need as a direct result of this effort. I am amazed every year at the huge effort that goes into putting the annual Veterans Car Show on and the continual efforts of many people to make this happen with out a hitch. Not only is the day of the show important, but throughout the year, the volunteers relentlessly attend other shows and pass out flyers and make people aware of the Veterans Show. They spend their own time planning, attending meetings and working with many people to get products and services donated, which are then raffled off on behalf of the Veterans. I mean it when I say that this organization is made up of the most caring, unselfish, and dedicated people that I have ever been associated with. Being a veteran myself, I am proud to attend, donate, and give my little effort in helping to tear down the show whenever I am able. I don't believe that any other organization exclusive of the VA itself, gives more cost effective benefit to the Veterans on local basis. Great show, great organization, and great people and it just doesn't get any better than that.
