Review for Sirenian International, Colonial Beach, VA, USA
I worked with Sirenian International's founder Caryn Self-Sullivan, and a few of her colleagues for a few weeks in Belize in the summer of 2009. Sirenian International is at the forefront of manatee research, education, outreach and other projects to help manatees and dugongs in all areas of the world (Belize and Africa among others) where in most circumstances may be over looked as a species in need of conservation. I look forward to working with Dr. Self-Sullivan on Sirenian International in the future.

seeing parts of the world that I wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to see in order to help spread the word of conservation for populations of endangered sirenians around the world.
