I am a school psychologist. I canNOT BELIEVE that an organization that purports to be FOR the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community can be so negative about the language options chosen by so many. Cannot believe the way AGBAD twists and uses words to misrepresent information, especially when young minds are at stake, and concerned and confused parents need honest input. Cannot believe the bigotry and prejudice that this organization expresses towards the very people it professes to serve. Sadly I CAN believe that it is governed, controlled, and run predominantly by hearing medically-related professionals...who obviously do not believe that their ...charges could possibly have any input of value. For AGBAD, Deaf people are pets to be "saved"...and a mean by which their professional practices can continue to garner monies.
