Review for Mission4Maureen, South Euclid, OH, USA
My mother was diagnosed with grade 4 gliblastoma in 2012. It was a very devastating blow to our family as my brother was killes in a car accident only a few year earlier and my uncle sied from brian cance when I was a child. At first we were hopeful that the traditional surgery and chmo and radiation therapy would work. 10 months later though as with most glioblastoma's it had returned. Her Surgeon said he would not operate again and it was only a matter of time. He cancer doctors though had just happened to have gone to a study for amunotheropy trial at Duke. She happenes to be a perfect match. The bad thing was she has to go back and forth to Suke about 600 miles each way. Needlesss to say this took a HUGE toll on my parenta finances. There is not much help you can get for brian cancer and Mission4Maureen was truely a gift from God. Unfortunately my mom passed but my family will never forget their kindness.
