I discovered Equine Well Being because I wanted to make a special donation in memory of a friend who loved horses and supported animal sanctuaries. So I contacted Christine Griffin and asked if I could visit when I was in her town.

It was a most happy visit - Christine was very cordial and informative. The horses and donkeys are beautifully taken care of and well loved. I could tell they appreciated being alive and with Christine.

I gave Christine the check in memory of my young friend. Christine took the time to find the obituary and write some meaningful words about my friend on her Facebook site. This meant a lot to my friend's husband and to me.

So, you can see that this non profit does good works that go beyond the equines that the group rescues.
