As the President of a non-profit, which has a mission in Africa, I pay close attention to other, similar groups. People For Haiti is one of the finest non-profit organizations I have ever witnessed. The leadership is outstanding; the commitment is pure; and the work they perform for the People of Haiti has long-lasting effects. I am particularly impressed with Tammy Denbo, who is the past president of the organization. She recognized the need for enhanced medical care on her trips to Haiti, so (at her own expense) became a qualified paramedic, so that she could bring medical knowledge to Haiti in addition to food and love.
