Review for Reef Ball Foundation Inc, Athens, GA, USA
The Reef Ball Foundation has not only a highly dedicated and informed staff, but an impressive (and a continuously growing) base of volunteers worldwide who assist in building and implementing these unique artificial reefs on international trips. They offer excellent educational information from their web site and consistently provide outreach to children, school groups, and community based programs. Actually witnessing the Reef Balls themselves being deployed in the water was incredible and even more so to follow the growth of the reef from their photos and updates online as it developed and progressed. Both the staff and volunteers allow you to see their hands-on and up-close monitoring of the success of the artificial reefs. My hope is that the beneficial work and efforts of the Reef Ball Foundation, Inc. will be strongly endorsed and continue to thrive to the benefit of our environment.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
successfully deploying Reef Balls to build and sustain a beautifully thriving artificial reef off the coast of Florida and have also witnessed and participated in their beneficial school and community educational outreach programs.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
encourage individuals, corporations, and groups to continuously raise awareness of and donate funds and grants for additional projects worldwide.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the dedication of the staff and volunteers to successfully rebuild and sustain our reefs.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
dedicated, highly knowledgeable, professional, and committed to improving our environment together.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
successfully reach out to, educate, and collaborate with more countries, more volunteers, and more children on rebuilding, restoring, and sustaining our reefs and thereby improve and conserve our marine ecosystem.
Ways to make it better...
only I could have participated in even more live projects with them!
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
building funding resources from countries and partners in the current economic climate.
One thing I'd also say is that...
the Reef Ball Foundation, Inc. has been highly innovative, educational, accountable, and collaborative in working together towards our mutual goal of restoring and conserving our underwater habitats! Way to go Reef Ball!
