An AMAZING facility to LEARN THE RIGHT WAY to CARE and for and value our beloved exotic animal friends! The people who operate and volunteer at CARE are always so polite, professional, and personable when you visit.
This is my ongoing vacation destination and primary non-profit organization to support, and it will remain so. I KNOW that my donations and time are well-spent to support these animals and the people who dedicate their lives to care for them in the most beautiful way.

I'll put this as simply as I can without seeming gushy: The amazing people of CARE are true representatives of everything good in the world. (and that's not gushing!)
Aptly named, the folks at CARE are truly committed to the well-being of the animals who live on their premises and the humans who support them.
These people sincerely want what is best for all species: To nurture and to enrich through the best possible care and education they can provide.
This is a top-notch facility that I strive to visit at least twice per year, and fully support in any manner possible, and will continue to do so for the rest of my days.

Where to begin with my appreciation & love for this organization...
I found "Big Cat Derek" on Vine before he had even 100 followers. Not only did he strike me as someone who loved and respected the animals in his rescue, but he very genuinely pulled all of us into an intimate relationship with each animal there.
Since that time I've supported them in every way that I possibly can, even taking special trips with my friends to learn more and meet most of the wonderful people who volunteer their time at CARE, specifially Heidi Krahn, Founder and Jamie Reed, who live their lives working for the care of these animals along with Derek, who has honed his skill at delivering CARE to us, the supporters, which has been invaluable. I've found that they're not only preciously compassionate toward the animals, they do the same for each human who enters the property of CARE.
APTLY NAMED, these people DO CARE. It has and will always be my honor to call them friends and to continue to support & spread the word about how truly wonderful these humans are. They deserve all the support they can possibly get.
