My parents had been living in the apartments at Daughters of Miriam for 3 years. When my mother became ill and had to move to the nursing home facility, we found the medical and nursing care to be exceptional. It was delivered with unusual sensitivity and personal warmth. My father continued to be supported by his apartment neighbors and the staff and felt comforted to know that he was part of a close community. In my 30 years practicing medicine I have rarely seen such a supportive and caring environment.
