I first heard about Assisted Villages Foundation through the church I was attending. I met Monica, the founder of Assisted Villages, and her husband Morgan and was deeply moved by the absolute devotion, love, and passion that Monica has for helping the children in Uganda. My husband and I know that absolutely every dime we donate to Monica she puts to use. She goes to Uganda frequently and digs wells, cares for the children at the Early Childhood Center, and she literally built a school with her own hands. The children at the Early Childhood Center receive daily meals as well as learning how to read and write. Assisted Villages partners with local communities to establish sustainable water resources. They also give away life changing tools people in the local communities such as bikes, backpacks filled with school supplies, and reading solar lights. I have never met anyone in my life that has such a God given passion to help others as Monica - Assisted Villages is an outstanding life changing foundation.
