I became involved with the Active Minds internship program as of spring 2016. I am so thankful for the opportunity to work with a team of passionate and talented individuals, who genuinely care about their interns! I have learned so much about best practices and strategies to effectively start the conversation about mental health.

In each project, I see the time and dedication Active Minds has towards creating educational resources, coordinating speaker sessions, and engaging with student chapters to further their mission and vision: to raise awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental health. I am grateful to be a part of Active Minds!
