Review for Jubilee Museum, Columbus, OH, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Jubilee Museum is the largest collection of diversified Catholic art in the United States. It is housed in the former Holy Family High School located at 57 S. Grubb St., Columbus, Ohio 43215. The museum is a walk through time beginning with our roots in Judaism.. The Synagogue room is dedicated to a holocaust survivor, Morris Dach, a truly holy man whom God took to Himself many years after his horrific sufferings during WWII. This additional time on earth allowed Morris to tell his story and be a real witness of forgiveness but also a seeker of justice. May he rest in peace. Our Christian faith is traced from the time of Christ through the centuries by way of paintings, statues, vestments, sacred artifacts etc. There is a room honoring those who served our country in the armed forces with an emphasis on what faith meant for these men and women. Catholic and Jewish chaplain sets are part of this collection. You will be amazed at this wonderful collection of our Christian patrimony.
