I have been a volunteer of SHI for three years. There is no other organization that offers the types of service we offer. Educating horse owners before theft and assisting horse owners if their horse has gone missing by either a civil matter or by theft. Debi Metcalfe is truly an expert in this field. When the Metcalfe's horse Idaho was stolen from her pasture, Debi did not have Stolen Horse International to run to. Seeing the need through their own experience brought about this wonderful organization.
