Review for Ecoflight, Aspen, CO, USA
My schedule has never allowed me to take an Ecoflight, yet I benefit from their work. The newspaper stories about public land issues, written by reporters taken on Ecoflight tours greatly increases the public understanding of the many environmental issues facing our community that are not readily 'visible' from the ground. Ecoflight has played a great role bringing a 'landscape veiw' to my peers and to those higher up in the public land management agencies. I greatly appreciate the impact that Ecoflights have made.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
public meetings where visual aids speak a thousand words!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
They find a way to let the land speak for itself and bring a whole system veiw to what may on the surface appear to be unrelated, incremental changes to a region.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
dedicated in the extreme, doing great work with limited resources and bringing their passion for flying to bear on the issues facing western landscapes today.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
put the concerns and challenges of natural resource development on the cover of time magazine and change public perceptions about their role in energy demand and climate change.
