Lovely setting and lovely people. Tours of the famous writer's house are an eye opener to all she did for the less privileged, and visitors learn her story as they walk through the rooms where she lived with her husband and children. There is always something going on there, from writing classes to kid's camps to high school leadership programs. A fabulous gift shop isrun entirely by volunteers dedicated to Pearl S. Buck's mission of helping disadvantaged children.
