I discovered GRREAT about 18 years ago and I have been continually impressed by the organization. There is an amazing network of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly. When a call comes in that a Golden needs to come in to the rescue the wheels begin to turn. Transportation is arranged, a foster home is ready, and the fortunate Golden is swept into the caring arms of GRREAT. The foster home has an entire team working with them so each dog receives services that are catered to their unique physical and emotional needs. When they are ready to move on to their "forever home" it is to a family that has been thoroughly vetted through references and a home visit. GRREAT truly is an exceptional rescue organization.
