Before I found BTS I felt a lone. I was in denial that I was ever in an abusive relationship. The daily posts helped me feel like I wasn't alone. Then I was able to travel from NH to California to attend the retreat. The retreat CHANGED my life. I found forgiveness. The missing piece. Since the retreat I also found my passion with BTS in helping survivors. Education is big. I didn't know the signs of domestic violence and I never thought it could happen to me! The retreat also helped me find the signs of an abusive friend. Break the Silence has helped put a positive spin in my life.
