I donated to Wounded Warriors for over a year. I believed that the organization was dedicated to actual Wounded Warriors. In Nov 2015, I received a calendar from the organization that had a story each month about a veteran that they help. As I read the stories it became clear that the first six months had stories that didn't quite support what I believed the organization represented what there commercials portrayed. I bothered me a little. In January 2016, I was ready to double my monthly contribution when the story broke about the excesses that the management was treating themselves to. Another rip off of good people trying to help a worthy cause only to be corrupted by individual greed.
I have broke my ties with the WWP, and I am looking for a trustworthy organization that is truly trying to help wounded veterans.
